If you’re looking at an accident on Incidenta, you may be questioning whether or not you believe it will actually be there when you get to the scene.

You can make better judgement calls by reviewing the traffic around the accident using our Traffic Visualizer. Toggle this feature on/off in Filters.

If traffic is moving really slowly approaching, or leaving from, the scene then it is an indicator that there is something slowing people down – the accident. If the traffic is moving smoothly around the accident, there may not be anything there impacting people.

Road Colours and Their Meaning

  • Green: 80+ km/h

  • Yellow: 40-80 km/h

  • Red: Traffic is moving at less than 40 km/h

  • Dark Red: Extremely slow/stopped

  • Grey: No info available at the moment
