On map view, you’ll see our time bar at the very bottom of the screen. The time bar is meant to control the timing in which you receive new incident reports. Move the time bar to dictate how far back in time you want visibility on incident reports. As an example, if you want your map or list view to only show the incidents reported in the last 30 minutes because this is what you deem the window of opportunity, move the left-hand of the time bar to the 30 minute mark.

Here are a few different examples of the various states you can have your time bar in:

Hunter mode

Time suggestion: Last 10 minutes

What this means: Your map or list view will show incidents coming in live and only from the last 10 minutes. Incidents older than 10 minutes will not be in view.

This is ideal for you if: You’re in a city or an area with lots of competition around you. You may only want to focus on incidents that are as old as 10 minutes, as you may suspect incidents older than 10 minutes have already been tended to.

Relax mode

Time suggestion: Last 2 hours

What this means: Your map or list view will show incidents coming in live and from the last 2 hours. Incidents older than 2 hours will not be in view.

This is ideal for you if: You’re in a rural area with minimal competition around you. You know that incidents up to 2 hours old are still an opportunity for you. Or, there’s not a lot of activity in your area so prefer the larger window to see what’s been around throughout the day.
